Calibre Rail is a leading specialist railway engineering and project management company with a number of large scale rail construction projects and exciting plans for further expansion.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated and eager individuals to fill the role of Senior Estimator.
- This role involves:

- Responsible for preparing estimates and tenders associated with project opportunities

Works to establish procedures, prepares estimating data for defined area of a project
- Providing input into improving policies and systems for the estimating of tenders and proposals
- Developing spreadsheets for costing labour and materials in meeting tender requirements
- Preparing tenders and proposals
- Indentifying contract / cost options for profitable and sustainable tenders.
- To be successful in this role the applicant would possess:

- Good skills in estimating system(s)
- Spreadsheet and database skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Ability to work within clearly defined procedures to prepare accurate and timely deliverables.
