Draftsperson/Designer - 12D

Calibre Global is an Australian-based, international provider of project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated people to fill the role of Draftsperson providing preparation of clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches provided by the Engineers or Lead Designers. Working on over 500km's of rail from pit to port this project is an opportunity for a well rounded draftsperson with a variety of structures and challenging earthwork components.
This role requires a strong eye for technical detail and a methodical, organised approach to your work you will be working in a team with a focus on producing quality solutions.
- To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience working on projects involving both Passenger and freight railways
- Conversant with railway alignment design including turnout and yard geometry
- Application of rail design standards
- Project coordination.
- To be successful in this role you will have:

- Drafting diploma
- Proven CAD skills
- Minimum of three years experience in design for engineering projects
- Experience on long alignment rail, road or bulk earthworks projects
- Knowledge of packages such as 12D, Microstation, Inroads and Inrail.
