Quality Assurance (QA) & Risk Advisor

Calibre Global is an Australian-based, international provider of project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries.
In this role you will maintain quality assurance management systems across the project(s) to meeting appropriate standards. You will facilitate a continuous improvement environment in order to achieve best practise and to meet internal and external customer requirements.
This position is directly responsible to the Quality Manager.
- Your key responsibilities will include :

- Develop open and constructive relationships across a diverse project team, to identify and monitor quality requirements, risk management and perceptions.
- Implementing formal standards and regulatory codes appropriate to the project’s needs
- Maintaining quality assurance and environment management systems across the project(s) to meeting appropriate standards.
- Identifying and implementing appropriate quality tools to monitor and improve project performance and ensuring the implementation of training related to quality assurance and project improvement initiatives and programs for project team members.
- To be successful in this role you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Formal training in quality assurance, business improvement, continuous improvement methodologies and risk management.
- Significant experience in a line management role in quality assurance/continuous improvement activities.
- A mature understanding of business processes and a clear understanding of what is important and what is not.
- Experience in project execution in the resource or engineering industries
